Write for Change Jar Savings
Change Jar Savings is always looking for writers who can write original quality posts on Green Living, Life Hacks and Personal Finance. We are especially interested in having regular contributors for Our Best Deals Store deals section. If you put together deals for stores near you, reposts those deals are welcome on Change Jar Savings. Please contact us if you would like us to consider you. Make sure you give us details of your own blog or a link to some articles you have written.
What You Will Get = Writer Exposure
In return for your article(s), you will get full credit for the post, an author a bio on the article and your website will also be linked at the bottom of every post you make.
Signing up
When you are approved to be an author at ChangeJarSavings.com your account is set to contributor, this basically means that your post will be published upon approval. Posts that are not up to quality or have errors may not be published. If this happens you will be notified and any changes or modifications have to be done by the author. Please note that we have very strict guidelines regarding quality, grammar and spelling.
Full Time Authors
We currently do not hire salaried or hourly writers. If this changes we will look at contributing writers first for any paid openings.
Rules & Guidelines
Unfortunately, there are always rules. The rules are in place to ensure that the quality of posts and integrity of the site remains high.
- Length must be 3-4 paragraphs. We want it to be a quick read. Exceptions are made for more in depth topics.
- It must help people live better and/or save money.
- The post/article should not be reproduced anywhere else on the web including your own blog (neither party benefits from duplicate content). The exception is made for store deal match ups. This arrangement will be preapproved by Change Jar Savings prior to submission.
- Any images used in the post cannot mess up the design of the site. As a guideline, the max width of any picture you post should not exceed 500 pixels.
- It is ok to link to your own blog if it is relevant to do so (eg. referring additional reference articles). However, you should not write articles around topics to justify a link to your blog and you should not actively encourage visitors to visit your blog. Remember, you get a link to your blog plus an author bio on every post and the links are clearly marked so that your site gets exposure.
- No affiliate codes or referral links are allowed in posts.
