Ladies, look at your makeup supplies / beauty products. Can you eliminate some? By eliminating just 3 items from normal purchases you reduce the amount of packaging you throw away. You also buy less saving your green. Extra bonus, using less makeup creates the fresh natural look that guys love.

If you can park your car in the shade, do it. Not only will it keep your car cooler but the gas in your tank will stay cooler and you will lose less to evaporation.

Buy the “ultra” or concentrated detergents. With liquid laundry soap the factory uses less water. The packaging is smaller so more packages can be sent on the same size truck. Ditch bottled water and drink tap water. Tap water cost less per gallon. You reduce the amount of plastic bottles being sent to landfills. Remember plastic is made from petroleum so you can even reduce our dependence on foreign oil.

Do not bag you grass / lawn clippings. They act like a natural fertilizer and you can stop using plastic bags.
