Lack of CVS Deals
In September and October the deals at CVS have not been good. There definitely has been a lack of good deals. They have had ECBs but you need to purchase $20 to get $5 back.
I miss summer when they had purchases that you could even get for free by giving you an ECB for the sale price.
Also they are not giving away too many of the $3 off a $15 purchase. I used to get these once a week. I guess they had too many people cashing in on this and they were not making a profit. I would usually spend $10 a week at CVS but now it is more like $15 a month. I used to go every week, sometimes two times.
But now the money I was spending at CVS is now going to Walgreens. Walgreen’s Register Rewards (RR) are sporadic but the Easy Saver Rebates are the bomb. In October I bought 2 Gillette Shampoos that I could get $5 back. I also got SC Johnson’s Shout, Pledge and Windex for the $6 rebate. $11.00 back for just going in the store an buying what I normally would buy.
I have not seen the Walgreen’s Easy Saver rebates for November yet. Nor have I seen the CVS ECB deals for November. I can only hope that CVS improves and Walgreens does not get worse.
