Couponer’s acronyms
$1/1, $1/2, etc. = One dollar off one item, one dollar off two items, etc.
2/$1, 3/$2, etc. = Two items for one dollar, three items for two dollars, etc.
AC = After Coupon
ACTUALS = The actual item as opposed to a coupon for it (an item from your stockpile)
AR = After Rebate
BLINKIES = in store SmartSource coupon dispensed near product, usually from red blinking box
BOGO, B1G1 or B1G1F = Buy one get one free
B2G1 = Buy 2 get one free
B&M = Brick & Mortar, as opposed to an online store
CAT or Catalina = coupon dispensed at register after purchase, usually has a red border
CO = cents off coupon
CRT = Cash register tape
DCRT = Dated cash register tape
DCRTC = Dated cash register tape with the price circled
DND = Do Not Double (the coupon is not supposed to be doubled)
DOUBLE COUPON = coupon that a grocery store doubles in value
ECB = CVS Extra Care Bucks earned for purchases
FAR = Free After Rebate
HBA = The health and beauty aid section in the grocery store
HT or HGT = Hang tags for refunds or coupons hanging on a product
IP or IPQ = Internet Printable
MFR = Manufacturer
MIR = Mail In Rebate
NED = No expiration date
OAS = a coupon that is good on one purchase, any size
OOP = Out of Pocket
OOS = Out of Stock
OSI = On a single item
OYNO = On your next order
PEELIE = coupon that you peel off the package
POP = Proof of Purchase or store use for Point of Purchase
PP = purchase price
Q = Coupon or Qualifier
QUALIFIER = The POP required for a refund offer that is physically taken from that package
RC = Raincheck
RR = Walgreen’s catalinas called Register Rewards
SASE = Self Addressed Stamped Envelope
SD = Store Display
SF = Store form
SMP = Specially Marked Packages
STACKING = Using a store coupon and a manufacturer coupon for an item, IF the coupon itself does not restrict such usage.
SUPER DOUBLES or DOUBLES = coupons that are doubled $1 + in value (ie, a $1 coupon = $2)
TEAR PAD = A pad of refund forms or coupons found hanging from a store shelf or display
TMF = Try Me Free
TRIPLE COUPON = a coupon that a grocery store triples in value
WSL = while supplies last
WYB = When You Buy
YMMV = Your Mileage May Vary= success of the attempt may vary at your store

Abbreviations for Sunday Inserts
P&G = Procter & Gamble Sunday insert
RP = Red Plum
SS = SmartSource
V = Valassis

You will find the insert abbreviations used when coupon matches are used. For example,
(SS 11/7/09) refers to the SmartSource insert that was in the 11/7/09 Sunday newspaper.
