Change Jar Savings

If you have been reading Change Jar Savings, you know that I have been comparing the coupons that come in the Green Bay (WI) Press-Gazette with the list from Taylor Town preview. I have found out that P&G is always 100% there. SmartSource and Red Plum have been disappointing and Sunday was no change in this disappointment.

To be fair and verify that someone was not taking coupons, I got two papers. One was delivered to a friend’s home, the other was from Dollar Tree. The good /bad news is that the coupons were the same from both places. So someone is not stealing the coupons, they are just not there.

SmartSource – Sucks big time! Only received 14 out of 56 coupons and two that were not supposed to be there.
Red Plum – Sucks again! 17 out of 53 coupons and two that were not listed.
P & G – All there!

While I realize marketing dollars are spent regionally. Why is it that every week SmartSource and Red Plum have less coupons in Wisconsin than another state? I could see one week being down and getting half the coupons but we do not even get that. Northeast Wisconsin is getting ignored. We eat too! We like coupons too! Unfortunately, this is not going to be heard by Valasis or News America Marketing. Well enough ranting. Here is the list.
