Change Jar Savings

Well for the second week, I have compared the coupon listed by Taylor Town Preview with what was actually in the Green Bay Press Gazette (my local paper). The paper was well worth buying just because of the P&G and the General Mills inserts.

By the way, according to Taylor Town preview no inserts are scheduled in next Sunday’s paper.

The winner is P&G! All the coupons were in there and exactly the same dollar amount.

General Mills came in second. They did disappoint me by putting an ad for Hamburger Helper without any coupons for it. They had a couple coupons for less than they listed.

SmartSource did better but I could have used the Band-aid or the Lysol coupons. The other coupons they did not give me, I don’t use anyways. The funny thing is they did have some coupons not in the list.

In last place, RedPlumb really sucks rocks again! No L’Oreal, Maybeline, Purina coupons. And I could really have used the Tylenol cold coupons as I have been feeling like a cold might be coming. Overall I got about a third of the coupons. Valasis owns RedPlumb and they print the P&G inserts. How can the same company be so messed up?

I would like to find out if I can get the Milwaukee Journal or the Chicago Tribune locally. Maybe one of them have the missing coupons. I have not seen them in a while but I go to Dollar Tree to get the Sunday paper. They sell it for a dollar instead of $1.75. Anyone get either of these papers? Can you verify if these coupons are in them?
