Planet Green has a “list of things to NOT do to save on energy and carbon, proving that it’s not hard to be green, it’s easy.” I may add some of them save money as well.
I personally like:
4. Mow your lawn less often (LESS Gas.)
8. Cut down on your shopping trips (Less Gas.)
9. Buy less
